He huffs in amusement. He wants to hug her but he holds himself back, reaching to cover her hand and give it a light squeeze instead. Pulling away a few seconds later and rising to his feet.

"I'm going back inside. Holler if you need me, alright? I'll try not to break anything when I go back to bed."

A soft chuckle as he looks back at her. A little sad but understanding. She still wants him around. They can make it work. Hopefully.
